The NHS Can Seriously Damage Your Health

I see those who like to preach to us about lifestyle choices are still killing people in their thousands.

More than 3,000 hospital patients have died because of errors by NHS staff in England over the past year, figures show.

As I've mentioned before, if your GP starts lecturing you about how you should live your life, offer to change if and when his/her colleagues stop killing patients or allowing them to die (they really don't like that much).

It represents a 60% rise in the last two years, but experts said it was due to better reporting not worsening care.

Oh, I see. It's not so bad after all. The slaughter has always been this bad, it's just we haven't been notified about all of the deaths before. That's all right then.

Glad to see that you are taking your Health brief so seriously.

As our Defence Minister once said, while one million 'professionals' in the NHS kill five thousand patients a year (and counting), twenty million ordinary car drivers only kill two thousand.

Not forgetting that the last stat I saw about MRSA was that it killed 100,000 a year...I see, that is more than the elusive smoking related diseases then.
