So you agree only a priveleged elite should be allowed to make a statement on a publicly funded medium broadcasting from a public space?
That's quite a leap there. The right to protest does not include the right to interfere in the business of others and waving a placard directly behind Robinson's head during his broadcast was distracting. I'd have been equally annoyed, despite my general agreement with the protesters.
Longrider:...I suppose it is a bit of a leap, but the placard may have been distracting, it did not however interfere with Robinson. It was behind him. There was no noise to drown him out. He could do his job. The protester just made it harder to get a "clean" shot. I thought it was amusing - until Robinson lost his sense of humour and showed how much he thinks he is above the hoi polloi.
I think it makes him human. We've all reacted in haste to a situation at one time or another.
As a general thing, I get really pissed off by people waving placards right behind a presenter. I want to hear what is being said, not having my attention distracted by the placard.

And there was me just thinking it was a funny video of a man not usually noted for his temper. Go figure. ;)
