Presenting Evidence

The world can sometimes be a frighteningly strange place.

The 50-year-old, who conducted his own defence while appearing in court completely naked, turned down an offer to walk free yesterday on the condition that he got dressed.

This bit me on the arse. I hadn't seen the report and one of the commenters on my blog raised the question.

I thought he/she was taking the piss and went in the wrong direction with my response.

The power of principles, eh? Seven years in the pokey for wanting to strut your stuff?

Seems a bit harsh to me, the man has yet to commit a crime.

CR.

I thought the recent cold snap would have made him put some clothes on. This has been news in Scotland for years. We should just let him go and ban him from entering the country again. He has committed a crime though. Walking around naked is a 'breach of the peace' in Scotland.
ie causing alarm and fear to young children or whoever.

He should have tried to poison a pair of lezzies. Suspended (pun) sentence for that.
