Could be the start of a new book, "How To Play Flight of the BumbleBee, For Dummies Edition." I guess humble wasps are a little easier to simulate on the keyboard than the complicated bumblebee. What an odd piece of music.
Well, I absolutely adored it - I do find the monotone concerto so intellectually challenging, such a relief from those dull, terribly predictable multitonal pieces.Jay
As a published musician, the template inspired me to compose an effective countermelody. Captain Haddock, you referred to Alford, the countermelody would of course be given to the euphonium and tenor saxophone.Alternatively, for those who know about the brass band contest, it could be a test piece for bands of no hope.
