CRUK Execs Pop Open The Champers

Paul Kenny, general secretary of the GMB, said: "The different treatment of people at either end of the income scale is stark. Ordinary families are losing their tax credits and child allowances and suffering pay freezes while people on top salaries of £150,000 to £1 million a year are getting cash hand outs."
I wonder what that means for these eight people, then?

Handouts on top of their usual handouts, I suppose.

What routinely elevates the temperature of my unrine is the breezy way that the local representatives for CRUK (pron = crock) dismiss criticism of the mothership, it's occupants and their misdeeds whilst simultaneously systematically and deliberately strangling local charities and pumping money out of the local voluntary sector.

CRUK are a weird hybrid of retailers and government department - like a cross between Halfords and DVLA.  Charity isn't a word I have ever associated with them.
