I think Tom Harris may have been onto something on Monday.

So congratulations to Debbie Abrahams, Labour’s candidate in Colne Valley, for provoking quite a few [Tory activists] into fits of screaming ab-dabs by producing an impressive piece of research which does what Labour should be doing in every part of the country.

He's right, you know. If only all Labour candidates had done as Debbie did, eh?
