What A Shame!

What happens when you are an MP and you completely ignore your constituents and also defend corruption in government?

Why, you're told to fuck off, of course.

It's not nice losing one's job (or business) due to the actions of others, though (Lincoln landlords know all about that), so if you're on Twitter, you can offer your sincere commiserations to Gillian here, or by e-mail here.

Either that or just spark up a cigar in quiet celebration, your choice.

Yes, that lying cow losing her seat was one of the high points of the election result.

I'm sure Evan Harris - who lost Oxford West for the LibDems - also said something to seriously piss me off in the past, but I can't remember what.

Good riddance, smokers got their revenge.

She reckoned that 80% of the people are happy with the ban.
Was that the 80% of the people in her ex-constituency I wonder that didn't vote for her ?

The pollsters say 5%, 6%, 7% swings etc. The reality is that Labour have lost 27% of their seats since 2005. This figure roughly equates with the percentage of smokers in the population.
The MSM will not see that, of course. That is one good reason to fight on.
In Nazi Germany, there was only one propaganda machine. But that was also true in this country. Thank God that we now have the means to talk to each other directly through the internet.
Regardless of the MSM 'take' on the gen elec, the fact is that the Nanny/Bully state has received a bloody nose.
In my local pub, the outdoor sign which says that 'smoking is not allowed in these premises' has disappeared. Can I therefore smoke in those premises until a new sign is posted? I would love to try and se what happens, but I do not have the courage. Certainly, illegal bans (such as in hospital grounds and on station platforms)must be challenged. But, it is not reasonably possible for one individual to do so. A group is required.

Sadly, it's likely to have been other issues that caused a drop in voters for her, as it was for most other Labour candidates.

Namely, the squatter in No 10 this morning...

Lets hope this is only the beginning of the slippery slope for Gillian.

A long desolate period out in the cold is all she deserves preferably forced out on to the cold streets in line with her policies.

We must also challenge the ban on smoking in Football Stadiums. It is not illegal to smoke in them as they are less than 50% enclosed.

The Football Clubs have just been conned into making Stadiums no smoking areas.

A Smokers BOYCOTT in the current financial situation might get the clubs to change their minds.

HOW CAN THEY BAN SMOKING WHEN THEY HAVE FIREWORKS SPEWING OUT MASSIVE CLOUDS OF OBNOXIOUS FUMES?

And yet I learn today that Labour ministers, like Ms Merron, who have been kicked out of their constituencies, are still in post while Gordy is PM and until some kind of hand over takes place when someone decides who the hell the next Govt will be! So ousted, unelected, Ms Merron still runs our public health dept. That's democracy, folks!
