First link is interesting, and almost shows an understanding of 'the world's oldest profession'.
I've known and worked with quite a lot of 'working girls' in my time, and believe me, it is one of the most misunderstood professions in the world. As usual, as with anything that generates opprobrium, it attracts 'empathic' do-gooders (I feel your pain...) like flies to shit, and they all have as much comprehension of the realities of the situation as anti-smokers have of smoking. It's all "for your own good" and "you don't realise what you are doing". They haven't got a fucking clue.
In fact, the reasons for women going 'on the game' are as many and varied as the number of women involved, and of course the ever-popular 'one-size-fits-all' approach is about as useful as a three-legged racehorse.
Once again we come back to the question: "Why are there so many people out there who think we need saving from ourselves?" And why on Earth do they always think that they are the ones qualified to provide salvation?
It's a question I've asked myself every day for the past decade. The only possible answer is always that they're simply disgusting shits.
