Davies has been informed of this prestigious appointment and, judging by his reply, I have a sneaking suspicion that it is much appreciated.
Dear RichardI think I can say, with confidence, that more MPs like Davies would be much appreciated by readers of this blog, and that if he could find time to kick Kevin Barron in the shins - very hard - at some point in the near future, that would be much appreciated too.

I missed the original post DP, but I have to say - if parliament was filled with people of character such as Philip Davies MP, our lives would be alot happier and drenched in the liberties we can only dream of.
He definitely deserves the honour of mascot!

l wrote to him too. l thought it only right that he should know how appreciative people are of MPs who tell it how it is.
